Aspen, Colorado

Alderfer's Antiques in Aspen. Located on Main Street. This is a place that I love! The owner Johnnie is a good friend of mine. She always has great finds. Western and beyond. I would spend a lot of time in this shop visiting with Johnny when I lived in Aspen. We could find much to talk about on just about any topic. It is one of a kind now existing in Aspen.

Woody Creek Tavern is always on my itinerary of places to go while in Aspen. I love the ease and laid back, no non-sense attitude of the Tavern. I have had countless good times here as a local and a visitor. Any time of the year or day is always a good time to stop by Woody Creek. Full of locals and nostalgia.
This is where I want to be, right here in this teepee! This was in Woody Creek on our way to the Tavern. My dream is to have a tipi in the mountains!

These train cars on the Rio Grande Trail. I am not sure if they are still inhabited or not. I didn't really want to find out either. Not sure what might pop out of there. But I was always curious about these cars and who live(d), live(s) here. Anyway, the bike trail goes right by and I mistook it as road for cars and drove too far down this bike trail. Oops! It is much better on a bike for sure!

Sweet! I used to live in the toothpaste colored train car (it was the same color inside). So many people used to stop and take pictures... nice to see you post one! ;)
