Another great opening! This one is taking place at three different galleries in NY. Nyehaus, Metro Pictures and Friedrich Petzel Gallery. I liked the progressive gallery hopping for the co-operative show. Saw many old friends and a lot of relaxed people enjoying the show. thank god all the posers and hipsters were nowhere to bee seen!

Coney Island

A quick jaunt out to Coney Island on one of the hottest and most humid days of the summer thus far. Thankfully the crowds were minimal and the lines were short and the boardwalk was empty. It looked as though most people were cooling off by the beach. They have somewhat resurrected the the fair grounds with Luna Park and new rides. Other than that it is still the same. And that's a good thing.

This is the atmosphere from the Jack Pierson show at Bortolami Gallery. Super fun party and opening. One of the best I've been to in a very long time. The Alexcalibur played, free drinks and free tacos!
