Shutters on The Beach

Hi! First stop, Shutters! I always love to come to Shutters. It is so comfy and cozy and the food is super yummy. And you know I love to go where the people are friendly. They are so nice and courteous at Shutters. It was a beautiful day at the beach, the temperature was perfect and the sun not too strong. Next.

A View From The Top.

Bye bye, see you soon.

Jet Blue

Yay! Jet Blue. It makes going to the airport a fun experience for me since there are so many great things to look at and do before I board my flight.

Lever House

I had a meeting today at Lever House. I was so excited because I have been thinking about these Tom Sachs sculptures and had been wanting to see them again so I could share with them with you. Lever House has a great art collection and I always enjoy the installations inside and out. I really love the impact of the black and white graphics of the words inside the lobby at Lever House by Barbara Kruger. If you get the chance stop by and check it out.

The Breslin

Super cozy! The upstairs is the best place to sit for sure! Or maybe the communal table right in front of the open kitchen. Or one of the many cozy booth's. Many, many great choices! Enjoy The Breslin at the ACE hotel.

Madame Matovu

A dear and old friend named Rosemary owns this store in the village and she gets the best finds. She makes it easy for me when I am too lazy to scour the fleas. XOXO

South Street Seaport

A great place to go early in the day before it gets too crowded. You know what I mean. There are still some old relics here, not many but a few and I love to see the ships and the old buildings and the views of the bridges. I try to remember, and it was not too long ago, the desolate streets of the smelly and raw area of New York's fishing docks and streets.

Another Lovely Day in The Neighborhood

This is my friend Sarla. I always go to her shop for fabrics, earrings, slippers or just to say hi and show support.

This is how my day started!

You know how I love the ACE and I must say it has picked up and is moving full steam ahead. There don't seem to be any more quiet and hidden moments left for me at the ACE. Not sure how I really feel about that at this time. I suppose I will figure out those off times when I can duck in for a quick reprieve from the monotony of NYC.

Delice

OK. Not so sure what really appeals about this place except that it smells AMAZING in the morning when I walk by when I am walking the dog. I love the colors and there danishes are not bad. In a pinch it is half decent for an item to take to a party. Their cakes taste strange to me. It is best to go after the morning is over when the grumpy man is gone. He had a fit when I tried to take pictures inside.
