A quick jaunt out to Coney Island on one of the hottest and most humid days of the summer thus far. Thankfully the crowds were minimal and the lines were short and the boardwalk was empty. It looked as though most people were cooling off by the beach. They have somewhat resurrected the the fair grounds with Luna Park and new rides. Other than that it is still the same. And that's a good thing.
