Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
OK, so I can now finally say I did it! I am going to accomplish all those iconic events and places here in NY so I can say (Sydney Says) I did that, I have been there! It only took 26 years to get here and see the balloons. Happy to say I enjoyed the crowds and the festivities of the parade. The only thing you will not see me partaking is the dropping of the ball at New Year's Eve. Sydney Says, no thank you. Haha!

Korea Town
I had the most delicious lunch here at Mandoo Bar. I will get back to you about the names of the things I ate as I cannot remember. I unfortunately was in a hurry and had to eat on the fly. This place was very popular. I was lucky, I got here at noon and was able to get a table. Within 30 minutes the entire place was full and a line out the door. Enjoy!

Day to Day
Oh my gosh, I have been MIA. But I have some good stuff for you to look at today. I was on my way to K-Town and spotted these lovelies on the way to lunch. The garment district (what is left of it) is so ratty and dirty. I used to hate going through there because it was always such an assault on my senses. But now I don't mind so much anymore as New York gets cleaner, homogenized and commercialized, I can appreciate the dirt and grime. The strange way the people are in this particular area. It is certainly a different breed in this neighborhood.

Todays Inspiration
It is so ugly and gray outside today! I was saving these images just for a day like today. I took these as I was walking through the flower district and was so inspired by all the beautiful fall colors. It is just the thing I need to see today as the skies are so sad and gloomy. And then there is Lady Eleanor, another great inspiration on any day!

Groundworks
These are the before and after scenes at Ground works in Venice. I spotted this place as we drove by and stated I would like to go here. So I went in the morning and the afternoon. This place has very different vibes and scenes in the mornings and the afternoons. I LOVE this place The coffee is delish and the scene is hilarious! I don't think I have experienced a coffee scene in the morning quite like this one. It is a frenzy!!! The staff is rather borderline surly. They try to keep it in check, but just barely. And I found their attitudes and behavior amusing. Then if you are lucky to grab a seat on the bench outside (in the sun) the action only gets better. I highly recommend Ground Works. This one is on Rose.
